Review of "INDELIBLE" an Album by Florence Yoo

If you are fans of  the upbeat "Girl Rock" sound made famous by the "Bangles" and the "Go-Gos" --- or even if you are not---- you'll love this new album by Florence Yoo.

Brooklyn based Comic/singer/songwriter Yoo highlights her experiences as a young woman living in New York City from noisy nieghbors to her first stalker ("I think I'll have him bronzed.") with both wit and charm. On the surface as breezey as a blue sky summer day, it has the effect of raising conciousness without being preachy, and is just plain good music. Backup support from a very talented group of musicians adds to the high quality of the musical experience.

JUst to be sure it would sound good to younger people I asked my twelve year old son thought it was "great," and our cats, who normally hate our music (OK my husband likes Metallica), gathered around the CD player and purred. While I can't explain the "cat effect" -- anyone wanting to have an album around that will always be fun to pop into the CD player should invest in this one.
