This past summer solstice June 2003, I lead seven people into Dream'Time. I take small groups of 10 or less with the sacred ritual of drumming into the lower and upper worlds of Dream (Inner Universe/Dream) or what's known in the field as the Unconscious Mind connected to universal cosmic mind.

I have reached a new level in my own journey. My desire is to connect with the Ancient Goddess energy to facilitate healing on all levels through the minds ability to vision and dream consciously to heal separated parts of self from trauma or a remembrance and a connect through the natural realms of the earth and the geometric energy of the universe. I am able to enter others Dream'Time which is called Tracking in Shamanic terms, and I observe anothers vision. For those who are advanced dreamers, usually my vision is exactly the same, and it's called: Dream Walking on the conscious level.

My journey began, with the first step that happened about two years ago, it came after five years of practice as a Reiki Practitioner (Energy Healer). One day during a Reiki Energy session, I found myself in the clients vision spontaneously. What was even more astounding - I was in the form of a Black Panther. Knowing nothing of the Native Shamanic Traditions, much less pre-ancient Goddess Shamanic Traditions that do not exist in written form, I became the observer of not only myself, but the client to connect with his state of dis-ease in his present life.

I spoke to my client about what I had visioned and he explained what I saw was his step mother in Bosnia who tried to kill him at seven years old in their kitchen after she had gotten drunk. After this experience, my abilities became stronger. As a healer to truly connect, I had to walk the path of healing myself with other practitioners and studying all religions, alternative certifications, indigenous teachings, Buddhism and Doa, world mythology and my continuing astrology knowledge.

When this dream walking started to occur, I began experiencing dead animals on my front porch, in front of my home, at the store, and finally, one day, a dead hawk at my car door where I was working downtown. I looked up into the heavens and said enough is enough, I will begin to get on the path and study and I left my corporate job at the Newspaper. No teacher had come and I did not wish to work with present shamanic teachers from the patriarchal traditions (1500 B.C.E. - 2000 C.E.) and/or use any hallucinogenics or sacred herb to cause vision. This process is much slower, more difficult, and requires inner work releasing and healing all fears, but the payoff is 'Clarity and Discernment' before, during and the days following.

I was fascinated with the Goddess immediately upon awakening in 1996 with a mystical vision in Pudget Sound, Seattle when the Goddess Sophia and Lilith appeared to me in physical form in 1997. I knew on some level I was being called to my souls purpose this lifetime, to be a spiritual shaman woman who represented the ancient teachings of Goddess Healing Practices before 5000 B.C.E. to what's presently know dating back to 600,000 B.C.E. with the recent findings of the Goddess Ritual Amulet at an archeological dig in Iran in the Summer of 2001, syncronicity having met and dated then a Persian man from Iran who interpreted some of my studies.

On the Summer Solstice with my group that went into Dream'Time, one of the girls was named Hanna, when I entered her Dream'Time, I saw her with a rope tied at both wrists holding her up against the Sun and her in agony from its heat. In the vision (DreamTime) she went down to the depths of the underworld and sat in a chamber on a Golden Goddess Throne. Hanna looked like a Goddess with a Jeweled Crown and Jewelry made of precious stones in the image of a Serpent up each arm. The most beautiful jewels I have ever seen.

Hanna's Hands were still tied and the rope was still upwardly connected to the Sun. When I drummed more and got deeper into her soul vision - it was in a state of pure torture, something I had never seen before in my self-student journey. I didn't know what to do, plus since I had 7 other visions to enter with other people in the group, I couldn't stay. There was no fear, just a lack of time.

After I take the group into Dream'Time, they each share what their dream was in an awakened conscious state of dreaming, then as each one shares, I share what I experienced. 'Hanna' shared her vision, and said a Cobra was at the top of her head. So astonished that it was real, she opened her eyes to check. She didn't see anything real, so she closed her eyes again and immediately the Cobra was present at her head again. In my vision inside her Dream'Time, the last thing I had seen was 'Hanna' as an eight year old in her childhood bedroom, and I saw the ropes around her wrist just beginning to form.

When I lead these session, there is a group discussion, where we they share what they experienced, and then I share where and what I saw within them. Hanna had said to the group, when she was eight, her brother had tried to commit suicide below her and she was a foot away when it entered her room above. Her friend, my student, who invited Hanna, had told me that she has two tattoo's on each of her wrists. (which were covered by long sleeves in the group session and I did not see them).

A few days later, I sat in contemplation of this past Gemini Dark Moon, (June 28-30, 2003) because of my Lunar Alchemy understandings of the cycles of the moon and its energy relationship to humans, I thought about what all this symbolism meant to me. That night I was going to send an image of my Vulture Goddess to an Art Show. As I looked at my painting, I couldn't shake the feeling, that somehow it connected me to Hanna's vision and my vision within Hanna's. I immediately did some research on the Vulture Goddess. What surfaced was Wadjet the Cobra and the Vulture Goddess Nekhbet of Egypt.

It was Wadjet that had come into 'Hanna' vision and I didn't know that then, but I know it now because of where I am at my own level of learning's. Wadjet was the same goddess who had entered my own past life group regression four years ago, and told me to read the Halls of Amenti. I had no idea what that was and found out through a series of non coincidences later that evening. The vision work with my latest group, and that event four years ago connected with the same goddess in the Pyramid and her sitting on the same thrown with the same jewels.

In traditional Shamanic Work, Shamans work with Spirits on the other side to help heal the community. I had not attained that level yet, and my spiritual work is always very slow and grounded, with self reflection for understanding the nature of not only my own personal healing journey, but that of who I attract as clients and what they reflect in me for my own personal healing. For they are always connected. This is sacred work, and that's why the clients are fewer and farther between in shamanism, because it takes contemplation on how to bridge ones personal journey, and the client who is called on a soul level to work with me. I keep it real and try to not get carried away with the mysticism of it all, but rather keep it grounded and practical.

Yesterday I did a Shamanic clearing of a space, at my students business where her and Hanna work. The energy was good except in 'Hanna's' room. It was the hub of the blocked Energy and thick. (NORTH Direction of the building). Together my student and I did an Ancient Goddess Shamanic Clearing.

I have noticed that almost all current His-storians of archeological and anthropological studies today, sees these two particular Goddesses (Wadjet and Nehkbet) as protectors of the Pharaoh. What surfaced through my gifts of intuitive awareness and vision abilities, was that this was a later devaluation of the Great Goddess in which they were being represented. The interpretations had evolutionized the 'Queens of the Celestial Heavenly Realm and Status' to a diminished 'supportive' role of the Rising God Cultures, including the Pharaohs.

Wadjet (Wadjyt, Wadjit, Uto, Uatchet, Edjo) was the pre-dynastic Cobra Goddess, who grew to become the Patron Goddess of Lower Egypt, and took on the title 'The Eye of Ra'. What had surfaced from my experience, and this is only my perspective of my practice, that Wadjet, once the great symbol of the Dark Principles of duality, Wadjet meaning 'She of Freshness' rose from being the local Goddess of Per-Wadjet (the Goddess Buto) becoming the patron Goddess of the Pharaoh in reduced form. Nekhbet (Nekhebet, Nechbet) was the pre-dynastic Vulture Goddess. Nekhbet grew to become patron of Upper Egypt, a guardian of Mothers and Children, and one of the nebty (the 'two ladies') of the pharaoh in the Middle Kingdom era of Egypt when the Patriarch began to form around the globe. 'She of Nekhb', named after the town Nekhb (El Kab), was a local goddess who, with the rise of the pharaohs, became the great goddess of all of Upper Egypt.

I am going out on a limb to say (since work in the non-physical is unique and more difficult to structure) that the Principles of the two Goddesses, were in the form of the Dualistic Nature of both Nekhbet and Wadjet who are in fact, an energetic form of one Goddess. Real like the Virgin Mary who appears on earth. But with no Sacred Prayers to these Great Goddesses of the Celestial Realms for over 2,000 years, they cannot be worked with on earth to re-balance the feminine energy in assistance by most. Her appearance, as in all the experiences I've had are blessings. Not a path I would have chosen, but chosen for me. I finally surrendered, even though this work has tested my personal fears on many levels. One of the main reason I joined a Zen Center was to learn advance levels of open eyed meditation, to keep grounded and have experiences stop happening when I was meditating alone an hour a day.

Nekhbet was depicted as a woman wearing the Jeweled Crown of Upper Egypt or the honorable Vulture Headdress, much like what I saw in Hanna's vision and my own regression. Through images and art, she was depicted with the head of a Vulture, as a full snake or as a full vulture with the White Crown on her head, her wings spread in protection while holding the shen (shn) symbol of Eternity in her talons. She was often shown with Wadjet, who was sometimes shown as an 'identical' Goddess - a Cobra snake - wearing the Crown of Lower Egypt. She was also depicted as a woman-headed cobra, a winged cobra, a lion-headed woman, (Ancient Hathor who evolutionized into myth [teachings] of Isis and Isis later becoming the evolution in energy form, of the Virgin Mary herself.

Wadjet was also shown as a Goddess wearing the Red crown of Lower Egypt. In my studies, from a woman's perspective I associate with more ancient mythos usually relates to the 'Starfire'. Starfire was know through the Grail era of the Ring Lords of Europe (Lord of the Rings Sir Lawrence Gardner, Royal Genealogist of the European Council*1) as the Kundalini energy of the female menses blood of a women's cycles that is in rhythm of the lunar 28 day cycle. Who, during menses, a chemical is released to stimulate the Pineal Gland (3rd eye) in a womans body, thus making it easier for women to vision into the dream realms. I speculate, that during this menses or bleeding time in a womans monthly cycle correlates to the moon's cycles each month, because it has for me, and this would have been a time that the Ancient Priestesses of the Goddess Temples, would hold their Cave and Temple Vision Quests or offer Oracular Seer readings such as the Oracular Temples at Delphi once a month. Many women know when they live in groups with other women, or share spiritual wisdom on a conscious level, that their menses cycle becomes in harmony at the same time.

Thus all of this explains to me more clearly as we banished the goddess rituals and demonized intuition and vision within women, the taboo and restrictions are in present day cultures of indigenous rituals and sweat lodges of a woman on her period. Taboo because of its fertility and its abilities to connect with divine consciousness, vision or dream states, and the formerly known power of vision on an unconscious level that were banned to build the male status of Priests and Solar God representations.

From the Book of the Dead it reads:

"The Goddess Wadjet comes to you in the form of the 'Living Uraeus' to anoint your head with her flames. She rises up on the left side of your head and she shines from the right side of your temples without speech; she rises up on your head during each and every hour of the day, even as she does for her father Ra, and through her the terror which you inspire in the spirits is increased... she will never leave you, are of you strikes into the souls which are made perfect."

Wadjet is now willing to work with me in my shamanic work as I have passed most of the tests spirit has put on my journey so far, and I am sure there will be more. I have done my vision quests and astral traveled and experienced out of body, and dreaming on many levels such as Lucid, and unconscious to conscious wisdom. Now I am beginning to bring this out in group sessions, to help spiritually heal at deep soul level, clients such as 'Hanna' and to introduce others to their own shamanic realms.

To link my connection now with Wadjet, she was the personification of the sacred direction of the North, the Great Goddess of Heat and Fire (liking her to my connection in vision and meditation and dream work with the Earth's Fire Goddesses: Vesta (Rome), Durga (India), Bridged (Celt, evolutionized into St. Bridgit), Sehkmet (Egypt, a later version of Hathor). These Fire Goddesses (Life Force) were known as their role as Protector Goddesses - with such fierce powers she could use not only poison but flames against the enemies (I note that to be in my studies as: the demons within (behavior), a broken spirit or a soul or mental illness, that has been traumatized at an early age). Along with (Wadjet) link to this power, she became connected with the 'Eye of Ra'. In this form she wore the Solar Disk of Ra, which more likely is a Lunar Disk in Goddess Mythos. As a solar disk it links Wadjet to the Sun - with the Uraeus (rearing cobra) as her headdress and that on many deities headdresses.

Wadjet had shown me her own torment through Hanna that was tied to the Sun in the vision. Wadjet was seeking to reclaim her original Wisdom as a Dark Goddess (unconscious or psychic aspect) of the Temple Teachings. Wadjit entered and also merged with 'Hanna', a mixture of both of them had occurred on a dual dimensions dream plane from what I observed. Because I received Wadjit's message as an original Underworld (Unconscious) Goddess twice now on my spiritual path, like Hecate or Ereshkigal, or Lilith, it makes me rethink all Funerary Archeological writings and gives a new, fresh perspective.

The idea's that symbolically a living and breathing healing Goddess, had evolved into a Death or Passage right in later Egypt, with the promise of Eternal Life. Like the myths of Christ as Savior and the Accession into the after world, or Heaven. Wadjets teaching told me that we live here on earth, and to reclaim our afterworld and heavenly status while 'alive' through her divinity, because nothing is separate in the universe and connectedness is just an evolutionary stage in different forms. Great breakthroughs in Theoretical Physics is helping unlock some doors to understanding energy. Such as Smarandache Geometry which is about Portals. http://www.mathgate.bham.ac.uk/mathsportal/ConferenceDetail.asp?ConferenceID=46, which Lilith and Sophia's sacred symbol given to me, directed me to this geometry to understand its nature.

As a fine artist, I personally see the Symbolism in Religious art purposely killing the Totems or identifying animals associated with the Goddess, such as the Dragon, the Serpent, the Stag/Deer, even the modern day Wolf and their near extinction. Myth has powerful manifestation powers on the physical plane and I can understand why the evolution took place.
 
 

Rather than working with these Goddesses directly because of ones' inability to see beyond mythos into the dream realms of these reality teachings, I see the Cobra in my session as the ['Living Uraeus']. And the Ancient wisdom of Wadjet as a living manifestations of the Divine Realms using the Priestesses, the woman Shamans, Dreamworkers, and Seer's being called to work with such knowledge. To help heal the person who is Alive, not like the distance or separate Christ mythos, where Jesus does not come in directly to you, but is prayed to for help, and answers are sent from other sources, experiences and healers. For this reason, the Uraeus or Cobra of the 'Living Uraeus', transforms the power from the divine realm to wo/man to be the channeler of divine healing, rather than the misunderstandings and transformations as protector of Royalty, particularly the Pharaoh, ruler over all things material of the manifestations of the sacred masculine.

We are now reclaiming herstory, the wisdom and dream abilities to reconnect with pre-ancient Goddesses, our Divine Feminine to re-balance wholeness for the shift into the next evolutionary stage of the universe, earth and her inhabitants.
